Hi, I'm Renee.

I've always genuinely loved cleaning and organising, but my background is a little different to your typical cleaner. I've spent much of my working life in veterinary care, where I learned to be practical, thorough and comfortable walking into situations that aren't always neat or predictable. It's also where my love for animals — and my awareness of how important a safe home environment is for them — really grew.

I've also experienced first-hand how quickly everyday household jobs can become overwhelming. When you're already dealing with a lot, the dishes, laundry, cleaning and clutter can feel like one more thing you simply can't get on top of. I've been on the other side of that feeling, and it's a big part of why I created Minka Home.

I'm passionate about thoughtful, pet- and family-friendly cleaning. Where possible, I favour steam cleaning and effective, lower-toxicity or environmentally conscious products, while still making sure your home gets properly clean. With pets and kids spending so much time on the floors and surfaces we clean, I think it's worth being mindful of what we're leaving behind.

I wanted to create the kind of service I would want in my own home — a helping hand without the judgement. You don't need to tidy before I arrive, apologise for the state of your home or have everything figured out. Tell me what would make the biggest difference, and we'll start there.
